Happy New Year 2012!

Happy New Year Everyone! Yea, I know I am 9 days late. But hey! Chinese New Year isn't here yet! ;) The holidays are so close to each other; I haven't had time to sit and catch my breath. Lots of present-shopping, maintaining/repairing/re-bonding relationships and friendships and so on, before 2011 ended.

And just when everything is finally slowing down, Chinese New Year is slowly creeping in. 2 more weeks and the rabbit year is over. I'm looking forward to enter the dragon year honestly, though it means I have just passed 2 full lunar cycles and yesss... I am slowly.. hitting the big number 3.

The Rabbit Year has really been a tough year for me. I'm so glad I did make it through somehow. Dragon Year will be much much better. New year, new changes. I have been walking on the same path long enough already. I am ready to make the next big step onto a new route. So.. wish me all the best! :)

I got my first vinyl toy of the year on Saturday - a limited edition Tokidoki Pocino. It's really adorable!

I really wish there are more varieties of vinyl toys in SG but then again.., lucky there aren't that many because I have no more space to keep them at the moment and I'll be Oh-So-Broke. I'm still aiming SDCC though. Save save save save save!

One More Day to STGCC!

Haven't been updating my blog lately cuz well.. I'm busy looking and applying for jobs and going for interviews. Of course I am still creating new stuffs but I have less time to work on them.

So, STGCC is this weekend! I saw a photo of Hot Toys Booth Set-up posted on their facebook and I got hyped up. STGCC this year looks promising so I guess I'll be there tomorrow when the doors open at 10am. :)

Customising Your Own Vinyl Toys

I've been dying to design those trexi blanks that I bought quite some time back but have not gotten to doing it. MAYBE it's a blessing in disguise because today, I found these tips on kidrobot munnyworld website. Like seriously, I did not know there are so many ways to customise it! (should totally watch the video on that page) And considering that I do have my own hairdryer and that I still have a new box of super sculpey sitting in my room somewhere, this could just generate new ideas for me! Well I guess I may have to invest in a few new blanks because I know I wont get it right the first few times. Maybe I shouldn't be so adventurous yet. Just start with designing on the default one first. :)
